Role Overview:You will serve as a Relationship Manager in the Retail Banking group, engaging with existing customers while bringing in new clients. Your aim will be to deepen customer relationships via a full suite of banking products, and you will be measured on growth, service, customer satisfaction, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Onboard new retail customers, understand their needs (savings, loans, credit cards, etc.), and recommend suitable bank products.
Retain & grow existing customers through cross-selling: personal loans, home loans, insurance, credit or debit cards.
Follow up on leads, manage customer queries, and ensure high service standards.
Maintain accurate customer records in CRM, ensure timely documentation and KYC compliance.
Achieve monthly / quarterly sales targets and contribute to branch growth.
Collaborate with operations, credit, product, and compliance teams.
Handle escalations, resolve customer complaints efficiently.
Stay updated on market trends, competitive product offerings, regulatory changes.
Provide feedback to internal teams on improving product design & customer experience.
Participate in branch marketing, customer outreach events to drive brand visibility.
Skills & Qualifications:
Graduate degree; preferably in Finance / Business / Commerce.
2-5 years experience in retail banking / sales / relationship management.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Good knowledge of banking products (loans, cards, savings, etc.).
Ability to work under targets and deadlines.
Good problem solving & customer focus.
